WAOR Quarterly Seminar May 5, Lender, Title & Escrow Panels!

Spring Stroll, Albany Fitwalkers & Volkssport

PRESS RELEASE

The Willamette Wanderers Volkssport Club, joined by the Albany Fitwalkers, will host a Spring Stroll of their Capital Parks walk at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 6. Participants will meet near the information desk in the main lobby of Building A at Salem Hospital, 890 Oak Street SE. Everyone is invited to join the group for some fun and fresh air.

Walkers will set their own paces, on their choice of a 6k or 10k walk along streams, past fountains, through the University campus and several parks, around the Capitol, and across the Willamette River on the pedestrian bridge.

Both clubs are members of the American Volkssports Association, better known as the AVA. Those wishing to earn AVA credit may do so by paying the $3.00 fee; all others are welcome to walk for free.

Routes are somewhat suitable for strollers, and four-legged walking companions on leashes are welcome.
