Upcoming Oregon Homeownership Forum - Salem, Corvallis & Portland Areas

Local Oregon Homeownership Forums

McMinnville October 28, 2010
Corvallis November 4, 2010
Salem November 12, 2010
Portland November 15, 2010

• Realtors
• Lenders
• Government Agencies
• Nonprofit Organizations Involved in Housing

Everyone deserves access to homeownership, and focusing on first-time homebuyers is a great source of business for lenders and realtors. Sometimes a slight drop in the monthly house payment is all an individual needs to qualify to purchase their first home.

These forums are a collaboration involving the State of Oregon, Oregon Association of Realtors, USDA Rural Development, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.

Join other local attendees to:
• Learn about the Neighborhood Stabilization Program funding and how it can help stabilize housing in your community
• Hear an update on the current state of homeownership in your area
• Learn about available down payment assistance programs that can help you qualify first-time homebuyers
• Share your challenges and successes in helping homebuyers become homeowners
• Discover the resources offered by your local housing center and how you can collaborate with them to increase homeownership
• Receive an update on foreclosures in Oregon and how you can assist distressed borrowers

There is no charge for participation in the forums, and they include a breakfast or lunch; however, space is limited and registration is required.

SAR Community Fund Gives $125,000 To Help Salem Children

How far will this go to show that Salem REALTORS give back to our community? With a little help from our friends (that be you all) we collectively can make this happen.

A Raffle for 5 Vacation Packages with Travel

We need your help to keep cost down so more of the money goes to the Children.

Do You Have A Vacation Condo or Timeshare?

Will you donate a week to SARCF for the Raffle?
(A Tax Deduction?)

If not a week, how about a weekend?

The more prizes we offer, the easier it will be to get people to buy tickets as they will have a better chance to win.

The plan is to offer 5 full week trips to Hawaii, Mexico, etc. and then 5 to 10 smaller local week or weekend that do not include travel.

Depending on the prizes, we sell 15,000 tickets for $10 or if we get enough prizes 20,000 tickets. That brings in $150,000 or $200,000.

Do You Have Something To Donate?

Diaper Drive for Family Tree Relief Nursery

Diaper Drive for Family Tree Relief Nursery
Posted by Lynne Carroll-Iverson on May 18, 2010, 11:56 am

Wines Realty as a part of our community involvement program,
is sponsoring a diaper drive for the

Family Tree Relief Nursery

The Family Tree Relief Nursery is a community based child abuse prevention program, providing early intervention services at no cost to high-risk Linn & Benton County families with children under the age of six.

Relief Nurseries work to strengthen the family unit as the best way to promote the physical, social, emotional, spiritual and intellectual development of children.
Experience shows that most parents, given the appropriate knowledge and resources, will freely provide the nurturing love and care their children need.
Wines Realty is asking you to join us in our effort to provide a necessary element of caring for young children, thus relieving some of the financial burden the Family Tree Relief Nursery incurs providing this valuable service to our community.

Simply drop off a package or packages of diapers at the Wines Office

Wines Realty
110 3rd Av SE
Albany Oregon.

Wines Realty will package and deliver the diapers to Family Tree Relief Nursery
